Design Bio

From an early age, Kelli Suzanne the face behind Whiskey in a Teacup realized that art and design was her passion and calling. This visionary designer puts her heart and soul into each new project, and the results reflect this intense passion for all things beautiful. 

"I want to merge art and design. Give people wonder and magic in their lives even if it's only with a centerpiece. I love that moment when it all comes together, and my clients face just lights with joy. Thats the magic. Thats the good stuff." 

That same passion for beauty is what she gives each job and each client. A mother of four, artist, designer, writer and lover of beautiful things. Kelli's art and design resume is vast and extensive 

In 1996 Kelli started her first business in entertaining, Sothern Traditions was an established floral and catering company in north central Florida until deciding to pull her focus away from food and flowers to motherhood and raising the first of four children.

 Eventually Kelli put her eye for design back into the home by working as an interior designer helping clients design beautiful custom kitchens and baths.

Other Creative and Visionary projects include.

Writing and publicly performing, Nurturing the Surreal, a one woman play about her Journey as an Artist. 
She has also been recognized for her unique vision as a visual fine artist by both critics and fellow artists alike. Her work is in the collection of many. Most notably of Jerry Saltz (Pulitzer Prize winning art critic New York magazine) and his wife Roberta Smith (co-critic New York Times). She has also had numerous art shows in the area.  

She currently subcontracts for PRI productions and has previously worked at Jacksonville Flower Market

and has attended FSCJ school for Interior Design
